Champagne and Linen Styled Shoot

Pizza-themed styled shoot with Champagne and Linen!

So sometimes in this life, I get a bug up my butt and go where my instincts tell me to head towards. That could be saying hello to a stranger, doing an act of kindness, or when I get the courage to email 20+ planners in Missoula, simply because I’ve always wanted to go. I had always wanted to go to Montana, it’s been a long dream of mine to ride a horse in Montana. This is a slight throwback to this blog I wrote back in 2017, called 101 Things to do in 1000 Days. I highly recommend lists like this. It was my second one and some carried over. Eventually, I stopped consulting it but that doesn’t mean the Universe didn’t have a plan.

In fact, I think I’m going to start another one. Regardless, let’s discuss me FINALLY getting to ride a horse in Montana. SO AWESOME. SO BEAUTIFUL! Everything about Missoula took my breath away. The snow-capped mountains, the bison, the hospitality. Seriously, I was so humbled by the kindness and friendliness of Ariel, Mariah and Alisha.

Ariel was the one who responded, when I blindly sent a request to planners, asking to collaborate. No one else responded and you know what? I’m super okay with that. I met the people I was meant to meet. Ariel let me stay with her, made food, set up the whole shoot, and even let me watch the Game of Thrones season premiere with her and her girlfriend. They also had the CUTEST DOGS EVER. I miss them 🙁

I LOVED being in Missoula. The land was so…mellow. The energy just grounding. Naturally, it rained on the day we were supposed to shoot. Thanks, Montana. It was mind-blowing, how two weather apps were completely wrong as the weather occurred. I eventually put my phone away and focused on getting what I could in the circumstances.

It was such a fun experience and I definitely want to come back to Missoula. Maybe take a week and really drive around!

Thank you again to the team of Champagne & Linen, as well as all of the vendors that kicked some real butt with this styled shoot.
