Good lord, I turn 32 in a couple weeks and I think that’s totally surreal. You know what though? MY THIRTIES HAVE BEEN AMAZING. Lots and lots and lots and even more than that kind of growth. I think I put my therapist’s kid through college and I have no remorse. I’m hoping my thirties continue to be enlightening, although I for sure would really really like it to chill a bit. Let me get my feet under me.
I’m reading again though! I’m so excited about that, books have been a formative in my life since I was a kid. Right now, I’m re-reading Gone Girl, simply because I love Gillian Flynn’s style of writing. I leave for Belize this weekend, directly followed by a trip to Denver, and I’m bringing all kinds of books! I also just want to write write write. I’m currently 20% done with my novel and I’m totally winging it. We’ll see how it turns out!
Speaking of winging it, let me show you this vow renewal I did at the beginning of June! Christy messages me, only a couple weeks ahead of time and asks if I’m free. Strangely, I totally was and there we go: a beautiful vow renewal! I honestly love doing these kinds of shindigs, because the love that is there after so many years…is some real and raw shit. These two have been through the life ringer, as most people have, and they just wanted to celebrate being together for SEVENTEEN YEARS! And I love the ever lovin’ life out of Christy. She the cake master of Cakes Rock and does some of the most AMAZING cakes. I have literally seen her make a cake that bleeds. She is the one you want to hire for your wedding cakes.
ANYWAY, enjoy this rad vow renewal that is filled with timeliness love.
Shout out to Garden Grove for the venue and
