Vibrant and Retro Styled Shoot at The Greenhouse at Driftwood
I genuinely am unsure how it’s the middle of May at this point. How did we get here? What time machine was thrust at me with a dose of amnesia? I started my masters at the beginning of May and I’m trying to adjust to the sensation of constantly being two steps behind. I’m also determined AF to accomplish all of this. Last year’s depression really knocked me off my normal forward momentum. Then I remembered I signed up for an ASL class in June on top of all this and I want to punch Past Jenna in the face. Then cry. Then write more papers in MLA format. Also, eat strawberry flavored pop-tarts, untoasted. FIGHT ME.
However, despite the craziness going on, I took a moment to write about this styled shoot. I really love it. The last time I collaborated with 3 of Cups, we did some epic shit, like this styled shoot that got published in a magazine and this wedding at Umlauf Sculpture Gardens. Basically, I help capture their sick vision in the best way I can. It’s a true blessing and I’m grateful.
All of the vendors at this shoot were amazing and can’t recommend them all enough. That cotton candy from Fancy Fluff was to dieeeee for! Especially the one with champagne flavoring! And WHIM knocked it out of the BALLPARK with their Vietnamese pancakes with pork belly. Oh, I’m sorry, are you hungry now???
