Houston Museum of Natural Science wedding

This Houston Museum of Natural Science wedding was just so much fun!!!

I haven’t done a lot of museum weddings, so this opportunity to photograph a Houston Museum of Natural Science wedding was a pleasant surprise! To top it off, Becca and Traci have become just amazing friends. They’ve come over for dinner, came to Thanksgiving, supported me by modeling for The Pride Shindig, gone shopping, etc. They’re just some super rad peeps and I’m grateful to not only have amazing clients like this, but also new amazing friends like this.

I was SO excited for their wedding and drove up to Houston on the day. It’s a bit of a drive but so totally worth it. I’m grateful my friend Tiffany was there to second shoot and be a rad photographer/friend too!

The Houston Museum of Natural Science was a blast, having never been there before. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE dinosaurs. It’s insane to consider that if there hadn’t been a mass extinction event, Dinotopia might’ve been real. Or we would have never existed in the first place because flying angry lizards would come down from the sky to eat us. LOL Could you imagine?!?! When we were there, I actually saw my first pterodactyl skeleton and those are *TERRIFYING*. As big as a large truck! WITH WINGS. Becca told me how scientists found proof that they existed during the era of men (I’m not googling this, I’m just choosing to believe) and plucked people out of the sky. LIKE WHAT. NO THANKS.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science was this insane beautiful playground, creating unique shooting situations I had never encountered before. I loved the challenge and hope to go back!

I’m once again humbled by the amazing people this business allows me to meet. I simply love what I do and I’m so stoked to show you some of these killer shots from this Houston Museum of Natural Science wedding! Check out this Blanton Museum Wedding I’ve also photographed!
